Meet Jeff
Originally from the Midwest, Jeff graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a chemical engineer. He found stride in the oil & gas industry down in Houston, TX and while he loved the challenges, he realized his heart was set on something different.
What began as a hobby and interest for finance, turned into a full-on career shift to financial planning, beginning with passing the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam. His interest in taxation has led him to pursue an Enrolled Agent (EA) designation to provide clients with clear guidance and strategic insight when it comes to the complex tax landscape.
Outside of work, you’ll find Jeff training for his next marathon – most recently finishing the Boston Marathon. Jeff enjoys spending time with his WIFE and their cats, Lola and Bean.

Jeff is based in Houston, Texas, and accepts in-person client meetings by appointment in Houston. He also works virtually with clients nationwide.
As part of Illuminate’s Financial Planning team, Jeff works with clients through both ongoing management and one-time financial projects. He focuses on helping clients build strong financial foundations and make confident decisions as their careers and families grow—covering areas such as cash flow planning, investment strategy, and aligning daily financial choices with long-term goals.
